October live cattle closed $.70 lower at $179.27 and December lives closed $.60 lower at $183.57. September feeders closed $.77 lower at $249 and October feeders closed $.57 lower at $250.97.
A scattered round direct cash cattle business took place on Wednesday. Deals in the South were at $179 live about $1 lower than the previous week’s weighted averages.
