Chicago Mercantile Exchange live cattle futures were mixed, watching
the distribution of this week’s showlist and getting ready for widespread
direct trade. December was up $.17 at $122.40 and February was down $.12 at
$125.67.
Feeder cattle were down on the same factors as the live pit, with
light additional pressure from corn. January was $.75 lower at $143.52 and
March was down $.65 at $143.72.
Direct cash cattle markets were quiet.
