At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, cattle futures ended the day higher on support from wholesale values and the day’s higher cash trade. December live cattle closed $1.32 higher at $118.40 and February live cattle closed $1.22 higher at $123.45. November feeder cattle closed $.85 higher a t$154.80 and January feeder cattle closed $.65 higher at $149.70.
Direct cash cattle trade finished the week on a strong note. A moderate trade developed in most areas on Friday.
