At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle closed lower, watching the rest of the week’s direct business develop, with additional pressure from the lower midday boxed beef. April live cattle closed $.95 lower at $146.87 and June live cattle closed $.87 at $141.60. March feeder cattle closed $1.55 lower at $166.72 April feeder cattle closed $.92 lower at $171.75.
There was another round of light to moderate direct cash cattle trade that took place on Thursday.
