China buys more U.S. soybeans

China is reportedly buying U.S.-grown soybeans following trade meetings between the two countries.

Media reports say at least a million tons changed hands in private transactions. The soybeans are to be shipped between April and July out of both Gulf and Pacific Northwest ports.

President Trump says China agreed to buy 5 million tons of U.S. soybeans in addition to the 5 million they bought in December.
