China has approved imports of five new varieties of genetically modified crops.
The list of approvals includes DowDuPont’s Qrome corn and Enlist E3 soybeans. Also approved were a soybean variety (SYHT0H2) held by BASF, and Bayer and BASF canola varieties.
The approvals were announced while a U.S. trade delegation was meeting with its counterparts in the Beijing this week.
