Two of the nation’s largest agriculture cooperatives are exploring ways to further collaboration.
CHS and GROWMARK board directors made the announcement last week and CHS CEO Jay Debertin says there are currently a couple of ventures between the two coops.
“Where we have the skillsets of both companies brought together for the betterment of what we’re trying to do. So now just the logical next question is ‘is there a way for us to work even closer together?’ And we’ll see what that means.”
GROWMARK CEO Mark Orr says continuing to add value to members while ensuring a strong and vibrant cooperative system for the future is critical.
