Asgrow sales representative Jacob Schneider says some of the features mesh with
Bayer’s sharing of risk with growers. All of it is data driven, says Schneider,
to develop recommendations based on customers’ field information.
“With Climate FieldView we’re able to understand and bring into the equation a
lot of other factors and test those factors,” Schneider told Brownfield Ag News,
“such as a fungicide treatment, a certain seed treatment, maybe the effects that
cover crops might have on a given soil.”
Climate FieldView collects, stores, and visualizes field data to measure the
impact of agronomic decisions on eventual crop yield.
