CME dairy prices steady to higher Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wednesday.

April Class III milk was up $.12 to $24.22.  May closed up $.36 at $25.17.  June closed up $.27 at $25.10.  July was up $.25 at $24.90.  August through January contracts ranged from three to twenty-six cents higher with next February and March futures dropping.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.6350.  Two sales were recorded at that price.
