Milk futures were mostly down and cash dairy prices were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December Class III milk was down $0.69 at $20.31. January was down $0.38 at $20.06. February was down $0.18 at $19.79. March was down $0.17 at $19.80. The only month posting a gain was November, which was up a penny to $21.04 in light trading volume. April through October contracts ranged from five cents lower in July, August, and October to fourteen cents lower in May.
There hasn’t been any movement in dry whey prices in over a week, with the price unchanged at $0.44. No sales were recorded.
