The EPA has given stakeholders a little more than a month
to weigh in on the proposed rule that would allow year-round sales of E15.
The proposal is being published in the Federal Register today, and the comment period ends April 29th.
Minnesota Corn Growers president Brian Thalmann says he’s pleased with the E15 portion of the rule.
“And we hope that as we go through this final review process EPA will come out and move that forward, sooner rather than later to make sure we can get it in full effect for all fuel retailers prior to the summer driving season.”
But Thalmann is disappointed EPA included RIN reform in the proposed rule.
