CommonGround Nebraska recently held its first-ever “Banquet on the Farm” on a farm north of Omaha.
Hilary Maricle, a farmer from Albion, Nebraska, was one of the CommonGround volunteers working at the event.
“What we do is invite those food influencers—your nutritionists, fitness trainers, chefs—and really try to let them get a taste of what we do on the farm,” Maricle said. “Give them the opportunity to ask questions more than anything.
