A meteorologist says field conditions vary across the Midwest as farmers face one of the hottest summers on record.
Michael Clark is the co-owner and meteorologist of Indiana-based BAM Weather.
“With the third warmest June on record coming off of the warmest May on record and the accelerated growing in the plant you really have an interesting situation- you don’t have a picture perfect area anywhere,” he says.
He tells Brownfield some farmers are experiencing too much rain, while others have only had light, timely rains.
