Congress considers tax extenders

Discussions over tax extenders continued in Washington
over the weekend. Lawmakers, led by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck
Grassley, are negotiating a potential revival of expired tax breaks in
negotiations over a government spending bill.

The deal could include the lapsed biodiesel tax
credit. Ag groups have been urging House leaders to make an extension of
expired tax incentives a priority.

There are concerns about whether a tax deal will be out before the end of the year.
