The Congressional Crop Insurance Caucus was officially launched Thursday during the first briefing led by Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos and Pennsylvania Congressman GT Thompson.
Illinois soybean
farmer and American Soybean Association board member Ron Moore spoke about the
importance of crop insurance for producers during the briefing.
Nine other Representatives have joined the caucus including: Cindy Anxe and Dave Loebsack of Iowa, Mike Bost and Rodney Davis of Illinois and Angie Craig of Minnesota.
