Across the Corn Belt, Thursday’s thunderstorms, which carried into the overnight hours, produced wind damage, large hail, and several tornadoes from Missouri to Ohio. With Midwestern rain having ended, storm recovery efforts are underway. Although temperatures have fallen from recent, record-setting levels, warmer-than-normal weather continues, with Friday’s Midwestern high temperatures expected to range from 50 to 60°F.
On the Plains, wet snow lingers in parts of Colorado adjacent to the Rockies, including Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo.
