According to the latest USDA crop and weather report, the Ohio corn crop is 76 percent good to excellent and soybeans are 72 percent good to excellent.
Oats are 81 percent harvested, ahead of the five-year average. Tobacco began blooming this week.
Topsoil moisture is 66 percent adequate to surplus and subsoil moisture is 69 percent adequate to surplus.
