The USDA reports corn export inspections for the week ending September 13th indicate a bullish beginning to the 2018/19 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 406,004 tons, down 24,711 from the week ending September 6th and 62,700 lower than the week ending September 14th, 2017. Just over a quarter into the 2018/19 marketing year, wheat inspections are 6,100,416 tons, compared to 8,727,609 in 2017/18.
Corn was reported at 1,030,267 tons, up 246,772 from the previous week and 342,271 higher than this time last year.
