Soybeans were lower on fund and technical selling, ending near the day’s lows after failing to rally. Face to face trade negotiations with China resume this week and by all indications, an agreement could happen soon. Nothing’s official, so a lot of the optimism remains guarded and the spread of African Swine Fever is expected to lower Chinese demand for beans. Brazil’s soybean harvest is more than 90% complete and Argentina has passed the halfway mark.
