
Row crop conditions have declined week over week despite recent rains in parts of Kentucky.
The USDA reports as of Sunday corn is rated 53% good to excellent, down 7 percentage points on the week and soybeans are considered 60% good to excellent, down 6 points. However, harvested hay is rated 60% good to excellent and pasture conditions are 53% good to excellent, both an improvement from the prior week.
23% of the corn crop is silking compared to the 5-year-average of 30%.
