Crop conditions were mixed last week in Tennessee.
The USDA says corn planting is nearly over in the western part of the state, but soybean planting has been slowed down by the winter wheat harvest and some cotton producers are having to replant because of unfavorable weather. Corn planting is also nearly finished in central Tennessee, with conditions helped out by rain. Rain is also boosting conditions in eastern areas.
Tennessee livestock producers says hay yields are lower because of weather earlier this spring.
