Recent crop tours across the Midwest have put additional pressure on struggling corn and soybean prices.
Paragon Ag Advisory risk manager Jamey Kohake says if the projections are close to accurate, the soybean carryout could eclipse 1 billion bushels.
“If tariffs continue (and) demand back off domestically, it would be a bigger bloodbath than what we’re seeing now.”
He tells Brownfield the bearish crop tour results have probably been priced into the market at this point.
