The leader of the American Dairy Coalition says she is working to get the votes to support the Ag and Legal Workforce Act so America’s farmers have the workforce they need. CEO Laurie Fischer tells Brownfield, “We need to get to 218 and we are working, like I said, every day counting not only the co-sponsors but all of the other individuals that have agreed to vote in favor of the bill.”
Fischer says to get a vote on Congressman Bob Goodlatte’s package which creates an H2-C year-round visa and requires using the e-verify system, House leadership needs to see support.
