Deadlines for the use and sale of dicamba are quickly approaching.
Kevin Johnson, president of the Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association, says the EPA’s Existing Stocks Policy sets the deadline for sale of over-the-top dicamba products.
“If you’ve already bought from your retailer, you are fine.” He says, “If you have already talked to your retailer and they’re gonna custom apply it, just have that conversation before May 13th.”
He says dicamba can be used for this growing season.
