The 2018 Farm Bill made industrial hemp legal at the federal level. Before seriously considering whether to grow it, however, farmers have questions. “Is there coverage if I am going to grow industrial hemp,” says Kristin Kramer, farm product and training manager at COUNTRY Financial, about farmers’ questions regarding hemp production and the insurance coverage needed for such a venture.
