The former CEO of the National Corn Growers Association says E15 fuel blends need to be made available this summer.
Jon Doggett tells Brownfield there’s no reason for the U.S. EPA to delay the implementation of year-round sales until 2025. “I’ve always been frustrated with the E15 issue. It just seems like it makes so much sense to go ahead and provide E15 year-round. It’s good for the environment, it’s good for the pocketbook, and it’s certainly good for agriculture.”
He says he’s optimistic the Biden administration will issue an emergency waiver for the 2024 summer driving season.
