A sales representative with Beck’s Hybrids says the corn in northeastern Missouri is variable.
Clarissa Cauthorn tells Brownfield “we’ve got corn at V4 to V5 stages and some of it’s just getting planted.”
She says warm days and sunshine would help the corn and corn does well in Missouri planted until June 10. Cauthorn says the optimal soybean window is wider.
“You might not have the yield as some of the earlier planted soybeans, but there might be more timely rains to help the crop along.
