Dusty Johnson says tariffs could be good news if resulting in a China agreement

A House Agriculture Committee member says the U.S. must deal with China in

the way that China treats trading partners. Republican Dusty Johnson of South

Dakota tells Brownfield he’s against tariffs for tariffs’ sake, however “tariffs,

when used a hammer to drive China to a final agreement, could end up being good

news.”

Johnson says he has concerns about what additional tariffs will mean for

farmers, but he says China must be held accountable.
