A House Agriculture Committee member says the U.S. must deal with China in
the way that China treats trading partners. Republican Dusty Johnson of South
Dakota tells Brownfield he’s against tariffs for tariffs’ sake, however “tariffs,
when used a hammer to drive China to a final agreement, could end up being good
news.”
Johnson says he has concerns about what additional tariffs will mean for
farmers, but he says China must be held accountable.
