Early harvest results in parts of Ohio have been better than expected

Harvest is finally picking up pace for farmers across much of Ohio.

Sam Park is a technical agronomist for Channel brand seed. “We’re seeing tremendous yields in some areas,” he says.  “It’s record yields for soybeans and then others, it’s above average. But on the whole, I think folks have been tremendously pleased with their soybean yields and the early planted corn as well.”

He tells Brownfield the timing of moisture was key.
