The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has lifted county-level bans on the use of Enlist One and Enlist Duo following a thorough review of a proposed label amendment. The two herbicides used to control weeds in conventional and genetically modified corn and soybean crops can now be used in all counties of Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.
The announcement was welcomed by the nation’s growers groups, which say they are hopeful the decision has provided EPA a good learning opportunity to instruct future registration decisions.
