U.S. ethanol production held steady last week.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production averaged 1.041 million barrels a day, unchanged from the previous week and up 42,000 from a year ago.
The industry continues to monitor demand during the early part of the summer driving season and the Trump administration Tuesday scrapped potential changes to the Renewable Fuel Standard, a decision supported by Iowa Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst and the Renewable Fuels Association.
