U.S. ethanol stocks have dropped to a two year low.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration says the domestic ethanol supply at the end of last week was 21.012 million barrels, a decline of 386,000 on the week and 1.22 million on the year.
That’s the fourth week out of the last five with a decrease, reflecting the solid demand, which has pulled stocks to their lowest levels since late October 2021.
