U.S. ethanol stocks hit last week hit a multi-month high. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says supplies were up 479,000 barrels on the week at 23.980 million, the largest domestic stocks since mid-October 2018. The Renewable Fuels Association says most of the build-up was on the Gulf Coast, which could be a sign of new export demand.
Production averaged 1.012 million barrels a day, down 19,000 from the previous week.
The industry continues to monitor margins, while waiting for details on year-round E15 availability.
