Farm Bureaus across the country are highlighting common hazards
as part of Ag Safety Awareness Week.
Craig Anderson with Michigan Farm Bureau tells Brownfield every farm needs an emergency plan to protect family members and employees. “Having that communication in advance of a problem has been very significant.”
He says farmers work in remote locations, often alone, which means emergency response times take longer and others might not know where people are located.
