The USDA says corn and sorghum export inspections as of the week ending May 2nd continue to move out faster than what’s needed to meet projections for the current marketing year. The 2023/24 marketing year began June 1st for wheat and September 1st for corn, sorghum, and soybeans. The USDA’s next round of supply and demand estimates is out Friday, May 10th at Noon Eastern/11 Central.
Wheat came out at 321,124 tons, down 181,645 from the week ending April 25th, but up 105,089 from the week ending May 4th, 2022.
