The leader of the U.S. House has declared there will be no votes in the House this week due to the services for the late President George H.W. Bush. That means the farm bill conference report is not expected until early next week. An agreement was reached last week.
However, there are reports the House is expected to pass a stop-gap spending measure to keep the government running for two more weeks.
