A county commissioner who farms in southern Minnesota is emphasizing farm safety as harvest continues.
Kevin Paap of Garden City in Blue Earth County says there was recently a farm accident and a neighbor lucky to be alive.
“And I think we’ve just got to remember farming has got a lot of high-speed moving parts.”
He tells Brownfield combine belts, chains, drive shafts, and power takeoffs all pose a threat.
