Farmer leader hopes SAF use matches production growth

The new president of the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association hopes the growth in sustainable aviation fuel uses lines up with the ability to produce it.

James Giese from Alma Center is on the National Corn Growers Association’s Ethanol Action Team.  He tells Brownfield it’s early in the sustainable aviation fuel development and says a lot of infrastructure will have to be built to meet the expected demand.  Giese says he’s concerned about demand possibly rising faster than the fuel can be made.
