At a Brownfield-sponsored event in Milwaukee on Friday, we asked three Midwestern farmer-leaders to talk about how the government shutdown has impacted them personally. They also commented on the ongoing trade dispute with China.

Ron Moore of Roseville, Illinois is a former president of the American Soybean Association (ASA); Brad Kremer of Pittsville, Wisconsin is the treasurer of ASA; and Doug Rebout of Janesville, Wisconsin is president of the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association.
