A late start to the planting season has benefited a farmer in west central Ohio.
Josh Yoder says he was able to prepare for the season and, when the time came, plant different hybrids of corn and run emergence tests.
“(we are) testing different corn and companies and different types of dirt to see how it comes along,” he says. “I learned a lot last year by doing that- you have to have them all come up at the same time to get that top end yield.
