Central Ohio Farmer Jon Miller says he was able to start planting in late April despite wetter-than-normal conditions.
“We’ve got about 550 acres of corn planted and 450 acres of soybeans in the ground,” he says. “While we were planting them, the forecast wasn’t calling for very cool temperatures and then that changed, but I think we fared alright.”
But, he tells Brownfield forecasted rain will likely keep them out of the field this week.
