Farmer welcomes warm, dry conditions

A northwest central Ohio farmer is welcoming the 80-degree forecast after a slow start to the planting season.

Patty Mann tells Brownfield “we had a real brief window a week ago where we just did a little seven-acre field. We got the corn planter out so that field is in, and we have some fertilizer spread on another field we hope to plant this afternoon.”

She says there are still some wet spots in fields.
