The president of the American Soybean Association says a resolution to the trade war with China would a great Christmas present for America’s farmers.
Iowa farmer John Heisdorffer says this trade war has been costly. “This bean market has been floored out and doesn’t want to move up,” he says.
He tells Brownfield the negotiations couldn’t come at a better time. “We have less beans in Brazil than we thought, and they’re pretty much sold out for the year,” he says.
