Fertilizer prices have softened but product availability remains a concern.
Patrick Murray with the Minnesota Crop Production Retailers says several financial indicators are trending in the right direction.
“Whether it’s diesel fuel or various other economic forces, we’re seeing some positive headwinds. But again, the perfect storm of supply availability not being there from certain portions of the world where, for instance, these fertilizers are manufactured.”
He tells Brownfield farmers should anticipate price volatility.
