The National Milk Producers Federation expects its proposals for Federal Milk Marketing Order reform to be the foundation of conversations moving forward.
Alan Bjerga tells Brownfield their organization is currently reviewing the 12,000-page transcript over the next 60 days for USDA.
“This hearing would not have happened without NMPF,” he says. “We were the ones who put in the request and came up with a comprehensive plan that was unanimously supported by our Board of Directors.
