One lawmaker says farm bill work needs to pick up steam in Congress.

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley says the clock is ticking. “If we don’t get a bill out of committee by March or early April, I don’t think we’re going to get a five-year farm bill.”

During a call with reporters, the Iowa Republican said another one-year extension of the 2018 legislation could be likely.
