Growers say enough with Turkey dumping cherries into the U.S.

Tart cherry growers are taking issue with Turkey and its dumping into the U.S.

Phil Korson with the Cherry Marketing Institute tells Brownfield they recently met with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and testified before the International Trade Commission to revoke Turkey’s duty-free access to the U.S. cherry market.  “We had invested heavily into health benefits research of U.S.-grown Montmorency tart cherries and our whole platform was to push that information out to consumers.
