At what northwest Missouri farmer Renee Fordyce calls “the great big ag family reunion,” otherwise known as the governor’s ham breakfast, lawmakers, agriculturalists and Governor Mike Parson focused on the growth happening at the Missouri State Fair.
“We have one of the largest state fairs this year with the largest attendance in the state’s history with 21,000 exhibits,” Parson says. “That’s the highest number we’ve ever had and as I said in the state of the state, we’re not done yet.”
And the cool, wet conditions and the improvement on today’s drought monitor were discussed.
