Hard freeze, strong winds headed for Delta region

Delta farms can expect strong winds and freezing temperatures as a winter storm moves east across the US this week.

Brownfield meteorologist Greg Soulje says there will be a hard, killing freeze throughout the delta region lasting up to three days.

“Probably by Saturday morning temperatures will be between 25 and 30 degrees and dropping from there with readings as low as maybe 15 to 20 degrees come Christmas morning perhaps even into Monday morning as well.
