Harvest about two weeks behind in Minnesota

Harvest is about two weeks behind in Minnesota.

The latest crop report from USDA shows corn harvested for

grain at five percent, 17 days behind last year and 13 days behind the

five-year average.

Soybean harvest, at 19 percent complete, is 16 days behind

normal.

Wet weather has also stalled the harvest of spring wheat,

which is typically finished by mid-October.

The dry edible bean harvest is 62 percent done, three weeks

behind average.
